Assault/Family Violence, Possession of a Controlled Substance-Units responded to the Casino Motel off of FM 2030 this morning, whereupon arrival, made contact with a female complainant who stated a verbal argument with her husband had turned physical. The subject reported her husband, fifty-one year old Israel Rocha, had been drinking alcohol and was under the influence of some narcotic during the time of the incident in which he grabbed her by the throat and threw her down to the bed before threatening her with serious bodily injury. Contact was then made with Mr. Rocha, who appeared disoriented and was observed throwing a glass pipe to the ground. A safety pat down found him in possession of plastic baggies containing a crystal like substance which tested positive for methamphetamine. Rocha was placed under arrest and was charged with family violence assault and possession of a controlled substance. His wife, which had visible reddish markings on her neck, would refused medical attention.
