Maverick County Daily Reports-August 01, 2020

Public Intoxication-A deputy patrolling FM 1021 shortly after 4 AM this morning conducted a traffic stop on a 2017 Hyundai vehicle for a minor infraction. Contact was made with the occupants of the vehicle who both displayed signs of intoxication. Upon further investigation, the driver and passenger, identified as Manuel Flores and Carolina Jimenez were taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Identity Theft-A complainant reported unknown subject(s) had obtained his personal identification information and open an account with a telephone service provider without his consent. A formal report was filed. 

Wanted Person/Terroristic Threat-A complainant who reported an incident on the 200 block of La Loma was later taken into custody after a check revealed he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The subject, twenty-one year old Antonio Casares, was placed under arrest after a warrant on aggravated assault charges were confirmed. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
