Deceased Person-Deputies this evening were dispatched to the Double M ranch in El Indio, Texas after a reporting person stated he had discovered what appeared to be human remains on the property. Upon arrival, the remains were retrieved and contact was made with a Justice of the Peace to assess the situation, where after a local funeral home would take possession of the remains. A report on the matter was filed.
Hit and Run-Units responded to Salinas Street this afternoon after the driver of a Ford Focus reported his vehicle had been struck by a white Chevrolet pickup. The force of the impact pushed the vehicle forward, causing it to strike a Dodge 2500. The driver of the Chevrolet then fled the scene of the accident in an unknown direction.
