Maverick County Daily Reports-June 29, 2020

Driving While License Invalid/Public Intoxication/Possession of Marijuana - A deputy patrolling South Veteran's Blvd early this morning made contact with the driver of a 2007 Dodge Ram after observing a minor traffic violation. The driver, fifty-year old Roberto Guardiola, was taken into custody after an inquiry revealed a mandatory suspension on his driver's license for previous convictions. His passenger identified as Karina Arredondo was also taken into custody for displaying signs of intoxication. The two were transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing, whereupon arrival, Mr. Guardiola was found to be in possession of a usable amount of marijuana.
