DWI-Twenty-one year old Juan Antonio Rodriguez was arrested on DWI charges after a he displayed signs of intoxication during a traffic stop on Aurelia Street this morning. His vehicle was towed by a local wrecker services and he was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Possession of a Controlled Substance-A deputy was dispatched to the international port of entry 2 this afternoon after agents at the port had detained a male subject in possession of a controlled substance. Contact was made with port agents upon arrival, who stated a glass pipe and a crystal like substance were found in the center console of a 2009 Ford F-150 during secondary inspection. The substance would test positive for approximately 1.75 g of methamphetamine and the driver, twenty year old Aaron Mendoza was placed under arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center.
Wanted Person-A disturbance in progress call on Encuentro Street led to the arrest of one subject this evening, after a background check revealed multiple warrants for his arrest. forty year old Rolando Javier Rodriguez was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center after the warrants out Maverick County were confirmed.
Family Violence/Assault-Units responded to Abeto Circle where a complainant reported her son had dragged her out of his vehicle, causing pain to her wrists. The subject further reported she had been assaulted again prior to a deputies arrival. The male subject, Raul Jose Fernandez was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
