Wanted Person-Juan Antonio Leal was arrested early this morning after being initially detained by City of Eagle Pass Police officers when a check revealed an active warrant for a probation violation. The warrant issued out of Maverick County was confirmed and Mr. Leal was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Deceased Person-A deputy responded to Picosa Creek Ranch off of Highway 277 North this afternoon where a subject reported finding several human remains spread throughout the ranch property. A Justice of the Peace was contacted and the remains were turned over to a local funeral home for further investigation.
Hit and Run-A complainant on Boulder Ridge reported his vehicle had been struck by an unknown vehicle while parked outside. A formal report was written.
