Motor Vehicle Accident-Units responded to the intersection of FM 1021 and Loop 480 shortly before 8 AM this morning after a Dodge Ram attempting to turn onto Loop 480 from FM 1021 struck a Chevrolet Equinox travelling in the opposite direction. The occupants of both vehicles were evaluated by EMS crews at the scene and the vehicles were towed from the site by a local wrecker service.
Information Report-Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies were dispatched to FM 1665 in northern Maverick County this evening after US Border Patrol agents advised they had been involved in a vehicle pursuit that led to a rollover accident. Upon arrival at the scene, multiple border patrol agents were observed assisting several injured male subjects. EMS and fire crews were also at the location to treat the subjects. One subject, however, succumbed to injuries and was pronounced deceased by Justice of the Peace Hernandez at approximately 10:27 PM. Three other occupants were transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further medical treatment.
Theft-A resident on the 2600 block of Commissary Road reported unknown subject(s) had stolen several items from his backyard. A formal report was filed.
