Driving While Intoxicated-Deputies patrolling South Veterans Blvd. this morning conducted a traffic stop on a 2010 Ford Mustang for a minor infraction. Contact was made with the driver, twenty-four year old Ocean Valdez Trevino, who displayed several signs of intoxication and whom deputies felt posed a danger to the driving public. She was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon-A female complainant at the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center told deputies she had been involved a physical altercation with a female subject when a male subject got involved and displayed a handgun before striking her with it in the facial area. A formal report was filed.
Theft/Public Intoxication-Deputies responded to a residence on Eidson Road at approximately 8:30 this morning where a female complainant reported she had been asleep when her daughter entered the room and took several credit cards and cash from her purse without consent. The daughter, who had left the residence shortly before a deputies arrival, was later found after a search of the area. She displayed several signs of intoxication at the time of contact and was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Burglary of Building-A resident on the 2000 block of Coyunda reported unknown subject(s) had entered the property overnight and took several items from a storage building without consent. This case has been turned over to the investigations department.
