Possession of Marijuana/Possession of a Controlled Substance-Contact was made with twenty-seven year old Robert Olivo, Jr. who was found walking along FM 1021 minutes after the 3:00 O'clock hour this morning. After receiving consent to search, deputies located .3 ounces of marijuana and THC wax in Mr. Olivo's backpack. He was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Recovered Narcotics-Deputies responded to assistance calls from HSI this afternoon after a male subject had evaded arrest after fleeing a vehicle at the Casino Grocery on Del Rio Blvd. Deputies were able to locate and detain the subject after a brief search of the area and the driver of the vehicle was also taken into custody after he was found in possession of methamphetamine. As a follow-up, a welfare check was conducted on a nearby home where eight undocumented citizens were located inside of the residence. United States Border Patrol agents arrived at the scene to take custody of the subjects.
