Maverick County Daily Reports-November 28, 2019

Assault-A county unit responded to a residence on San Marcos early this morning, whereupon arrival made contact with a complainant who reported her juvenile daughter had been physically assaulted by her boyfriend in the midst of an argument. The female subject displayed visible marking but refused medical attention at the time of the report. A formal report was filed.

Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies responded to La Herradura Road this afternoon where a vehicle travelling eastbound on the road failed to follow the curve and struck a tree. The driver left the scene of the accident prior to a deputy's arrival  and a local wrecker service towed the vehicle from the location.

Wanted Person-Twenty-eight year old Ricardo Ivan Gonzalez was arrested at the international port of entry 1 this afternoon after agents at the port initially detained him when a check revealed an active warrant. The warrant out of the Bexar County Sheriff's Office was confirmed and Gonzalez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Possession of a Dangerous Drug-A deputy patrolling Coyunda Street in the Loma Bonita of Maverick County this evening made contact with a suspicious male subject with a flashlight by the roadway. The subject, identified as Rogelio Roque, appeared disoriented and a safety pat down was conducted which yielded the discovery of four clonazepam pills in his jacket pocket. Mr. Roque was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
