Maverick County Daily Reports-October 22, 2019

Public Intoxication-A deputy on patrolling the 2700 block of Main Street this morning encountered a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe with an open passenger door and a male subject lying on the ground holding an open container. Contact was made with the subject, thirty-eight year old Ramiro Rodriguez, who displayed a slurred speech, unstable balance, and a strong alcoholic odor emitting from his person. He was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Theft-A complainant called into the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to report his machinery had been taken from a job site without his consent and believes a known male subject may have possibly taken it to a local pawn shop.

Burglary of Habitation-A resident on the 800 block of Escondido advised deputies that unknown subject(s) had entered her home without consent and took several items. The resident, who had been living out of town, arrived to find these items missing. A formal report was filed.
