Maverick County Daily Reports-October 18, 2019

Public Intoxication-Sofia Jimenez was placed under arrest this morning on public intoxication charges after she was initially detained by ISD officers who found her in an intoxicated state. Contact was made with Ms. Jimenez, who displayed bloodshot eyes, a slurred speech, and unstable movements. She was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-A deputy responded to the Maverick County Adult Probation Department this morning after officers detained a male subject whose background check revealed several active warrants. The warrants out of Maverick County for Rodrigo Guadalupe Gonzalez were confirmed and Mr. Gonzalez was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon-Units responded to the 1700 block of Rainbow Circle this evening after receiving reports of a possible assault. Upon arrival, contact was made with two male subjects who reported they had been involved in a fight with a known male subject. The subjects further reported they had been stabbed in the forehead and in the hand before the subject fled the area. Both victims were transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further evaluations.
