Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-Contact was made with United States Border Patrol agents this morning after they detained a male subject found in possession of several baggies containing a green leafy substance with marijuana characteristics. Further investigations revealed the substance would test positive for approximately 55 grams of marijuana. The subject, twenty year old Jeremy Garces was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Hugo Ernesto Castaneda was arrested at the international port of entry 1 after agents at the port detained him when a check revealed an open warrant. The warrant out of Harris County was confirmed as active and Mr. Castaneda was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
