Public Intoxication-A unit responded to the 900 block of Seco Road at approximately 4:55 AM this morning after receiving reports of an unwanted male at a residence. Upon arrival, deputies observed a male subject walking towards the front of the residence. Contact was then made with the subject, Jesus Alberto Curi, and a second subject, Marco Antonio Lopez. Mr. Curi displayed bloodshot eyes, unbalanced movements, and a slurred speech. Mr. Lopez then admitted both he Curi had been smoking marijuana prior to a deputies arrival. The pair were taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Animal Cruelty-A complainant on the 100 block of School Circle reported she had arrived at her home to find her pet dogs had been killed by unknown subject(s). A formal report was filed.
Theft-A manager at the Stripes convenience store on FM1021 reported an employee had taken approximately $380.00 from a cash register without consent. A formal report was filed.
Possession of a Controlled Substance-A deputy responded to the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino this evening after tribal police officers had detained a male subject found in possession of a controlled substance. The subject who initially failed to provide identification was later identified as forty-four year old Josue Lee, who had a clear plastic baggie containing a white powdery substance with cocaine characteristics on his person. Lee was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center.
Disorderly Conduct-A county unit was dispatched to the 900 block of Seco Road this evening after EMS crews requested deputy assistance with a male subject found in a combative state. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the subject, later identified as Jesus Curi, who appeared to be under the influence. Contact was also made with family members who advised they were in fear for the safety and no longer wanted Mr. Curi by the location due to his violent tendencies. Curi was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
