Maverick County Daily Reports-September 15, 2019

Burglary of Building-A unit responded to Park Street this afternoon when a complainant stated unknown subject(s)  forced into into his building and took several items without consent. A formal report was filed.

Burlgary of Habitation-A resident on Ramirez Road told deputies an unknown subject(s) had entered his home without his consent and and took a television set. A formal report was filed.

Possession of a Controlled Substance-A county unit was dispatched to the international port of entry #2 this evening after agents at the port had detained two female subjects when a check revealed two trap doors on the vehicle floorboard. A secondary inspection yielded the discovery of approximately 2,200 grams of heroin and 22,360 grams of methamphetamine under the trap doors. The driver, identified as thirty-nine year old Paola Guadalupe Munoz Guillen Guadalajara was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled subtance. A second occupant was also detained for investigative purposes. The vehicle has since been towed to the Maverick County Sheriff's Office and the evidence was recovered from the scene.

Wanted Person-Francisco Javier Garcia was taken into custody at the international port of entry #2 this evening after a check revealed an open warrant for his arrest. The warrant out of Medina County was confirmed and Garcia was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
