Wanted Person
Adult Probation Office
Deputy was dispatched to said location in reference to a
wanted person. Upon arrival, Deputy made contact with male subject (John Lee
Chancey, 42). A TCIC/NCIC check revealed that male subject had an active capias
warrant out of Maverick County (Evading Arrest). He was placed under arrest and
transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for further processing.
Wanted Person
Rosita Valley/High Noon
Deputy was patrolling on High Noon conducted a traffic stop
on a 1988 black GMC pickup for a traffic violation. Deputy conducted a
TCIC/NCIC check on male driver (Abelardo Canales, 54) in which revealed that he
had several warrants out of Maverick County Sheriff Department. Male subject
was placed under arrest and transported to the Maverick County Jail for
processing. Pickup truck was picked up by family members.
Deceased Person
La Paloma Ranch (Highway 57)
Deputy was dispatched to said location in reference to a
deceased person report. Upon arrival, contact was made with Border Patrol
Agents who stated that a deceased body was located inside said ranch. After
further investigation, Justice of the Peace #4 Tere Hernandez arrived at scene
and pronounced time of death at 3:40 PM. Memorial funeral chapel took
possession of the body.
Wanted Person
1500 Block of Royal Ridge
Deputy was dispatched to said location in reference to a
wanted person out of Kinney County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, Deputy made
contact with male subject (Felipe Miranda, 17). A TCIC/NCIC check revealed that
male subject had an active warrant out of Kinney County (Murder). He was placed
under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for further
processing.
Harassment by Phone
2500 Block of Del Rio Blvd.
Complainant stated that she has been receiving several
unwanted phone calls in which she feels annoyed. A report was issued in
reference to matter.
