Wanted Person-Jorge Soriano was placed under arrest at the international port of entry one this morning after being detained by agents at the port when a check revealed an open warrant. The warrant out of Harris County was confirmed as active and Mr. Soriano was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Theft-A complainant told deputies he had mailed out a check for payment several weeks ago only to find out the check had been cashed by an unknown subject(s) without his consent. A formal report was filed.
Deceased Person-Units made their way to the Rio Grande River near the international port of entry #2 this afternoon, where United States Border Patrol agents at the scene reported observing the body of an unknown subject floating in the Rio Grande. The body of a male subject was retrieved and Justice of the Peace Mancha was summoned to the scene where she declared the subject deceased at approximately 5:43 PM.
Wanted Person-A deputy patrolling the Eagle Heights subdivision this afternoon observed a known male subject with an active warrant in the area. Contact was made with Heriberto Esquivel, who was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
