Burglary of Habitation-Deputies responded to a call on Frente Street early this morning after fielding calls of a possible theft in progress. Contact was made with neighbors near the scene who reported the homeowners of the residence in question were currently out of town. Upon inspecting the home, two male subjects were found lying in the bedroom. Further investigations revealed the two were undocumented citizens and had entered the residence without consent when they found the door unlocked and unoccupied. Border Patrol agents were summoned to the scene and took custody of the two subjects.
Motor Vehicle Accident-A deputy responded to US Highway 277 North near Quemado, Texas early this morning, whereupon arrival observed a 2000 Dodge Ram inside a small ditch. The driver of the vehicle left the scene of the accident and an investigation revealed the vehicle had gone off the roadway while attempting to make a left turn onto FM1666.
Disorderly Conduct-Inez Cruz was taken into custody on disorderly conduct charges this morning after she was found in a highly intoxicated state and was acting in a vulgar and uncooperative fashion towards deputies. She was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Calls to a disturbance in progress on Doe Lane revealed one of the subjects involved in the disturbance, twenty-seven-year-old Margarito Cruz, had an active warrant out Atascosa County. The warrant was confirmed and Mr. Cruz was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
