Maverick County Daily Reports-December 08, 2018

Criminal Mischief-A resident on the 300 block of Minerva reported his son had intentionally caused damages to his residence after the two were involved in a verbal dispute. The subject left the location prior to a deputies' arrival. A formal report was filed.

Deceased Person-A county unit responded to the 200 block of Desirable this morning after receiving reports of an unresponsive person. Contact was made with a female subject upon arrival, who reported her husband had been suffering from strep throat and found him unresponsive when she awoke to give him his medication. EMS crews were summoned to the scene and a Justice of the Peace arrived to declare the male subject deceased at approximately 10:12 AM.

Burglary of Habitation-A resident on the 300 block of Memo Robinson Road reported he arrived at his home to find the front door to his residence unlocked and the back door completely open. No items were reported missing from the residence, however, the owner reported finding blankets on the coach and cigarette wrappers on the floor. The complainant further stated he believes his brother may have found a way into his residence and had been staying there while he had been away. A formal report was filed.
