DWI/MVA-County units responded to Rosita Valley Road at approximately 6:09 AM this morning in reference to a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, contact was made with the driver of a vehicle traveling westbound on Rosita Valley Road who reported a vehicle traveling eastbound came onto her lane. Contact was also made with the second driver, who reported the vehicle traveling westbound came onto his lane and collided with him. Both drivers refused medical attention at the time of this report, however, were placed under arrest on DWI charges. Silvy Lisseth Salazar and Jaime Augustin Cardenas were both transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Public Intoxication-Martin Fabela was arrested on public intoxication charges this morning when he was found walking with an unstable balance through the Stripes convenience store parking lot on FM1021. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Public Intoxication-Deputies patrolling the Maverick County Lake this morning arrested Marcos Lopez Maldonado after he was found consuming alcoholic beverages next to his vehicle. Upon making contact with Mr. Lopez, it was determined he was in a highly intoxicated state. He was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
