Assault/Family Violence-A deputy responding to the 1800 block of Old Pioneer Road this afternoon spoke with a female complainant who reported she had been assaulted by her husband earlier when she attempted to stop him from assaulting their son. A formal report was filed.
Resisting Arrest-A unit responded to an assistance call on the 900 block of Bibb Avenue this afternoon after a male subject refused to step out of his residence while a deputy constable was serving an eviction notice. Contact was made with the subject, identified as Jose Trinidad Aguero, who also refused to comply with deputy commands. Mr. Aguero reached for an unknown object in his jacket pocket and deputies were quick to detain him despite his continued efforts to resist arrest. He was eventually taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. The unknown subject was later revealed to be a multi-tool set containing various knives.
