Maverick County Daily Reports-October 07, 2018

Public Intoxication/Disorderly Conduct-A unit responded to the international port of entry #2 after agents at the port detained a male subject when he was found urinating in the Customs and Border Protection parking lot. Contact was made with the subject, Jesus Ricardo Sanchez, who admitted to having been drinking and urinating in a public area. He was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle-A resident on the 600 block of Guisseppi reported unknown subject(s) had just taken his Ford 500 without his consent. The complainant reported no possible suspects at the time. The vehicle information was taken and entered into the database as a stolen vehicle.

Deceased Person-A unit was dispatched to a residence on North Street this morning where EMS crews at the location advised a female subject had passed away due to natural causes. Justice of the Peace Castaneda arrived at the scene to declare the eighty-nine year old subject deceased.

Wanted Person-Frank Delgado was arrested at the international port of entry after a check revealed an open warrant for his arrest out of Harris County. The warrant was confirmed and Mr. Delgado was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Possession of a Controlled Substance-A deputy was dispatched to the United States Port of Entry #1 this evening where contact was made with CBP agents at the port who detained a male subject found in possession of a controlled substance. Javier Menchaca was found with 29 pills of Clonazepam. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. The narcotics were taken and placed in the evidence locker at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office.
