Maverick County Daily Reports-August 21, 2018

Violation of a Protective Order-Luis Alfonso Alvarado was placed under arrest at the international port of entry #2 early this morning after he was found to be in violation of a protective order. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Motor Vehicle Accident with a Fixed Object-Deputies responded to Old Pioneer
Road, where a driver reported she had been traveling westbound when a wild hog came running out of the brush area. The driver lost control of the vehicle in an attempt to avoid hitting the animal and struck a fenceline, causing damages to both the vehicle and the fence.

Criminal Mischief-A county unit responded to Eidson Road after a complainant reported a known male subject had arrived at the location and broke the front windshield to her 2016 black KIA Sorrento. The subject left the scene prior to deputy arrival.

Public Intoxication-Armando Gerardo Salinas was placed under arrest this evening after Border Patrol agents found him in an intoxicated state. Upon contact, deputies observed bloodshot eyes, a strong alcoholic odor emitting from his person and a slurred speech. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
