Wanted Person-Deputies arrested Angelical Maria Cardoza Gaytan at the international port of entry #2 early this morning after she was initially detained when a check revealed an open warrant. The warrant out of Guadalupe County for Ms. Cardoza was confirmed and she was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Aggravated Robbery-A complainant reported he was doing construction work on the 1600 block of Bianca this morning when two unknown subjects arrived at the property unannounced. One subject struck the individual with an aluminum bat and demanded whatever money he had on him and the second subject made off with a set of tools being used at the construction site. The complainant further stated the two subjects left the scene in a grey Hyundai prior to deputies' arrival.
Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz-Deputies arrested a male subject at the United States Border Patrol checkpoint on US Highway 57 this morning after discovering a cigarette containing a green leafy substance in his possession during a secondary inspection. The substance would test positive for marijuana and the subject, who was also found to be in possession of a smoking pipe. was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
