Possession of Marijuana-A male subject was placed under arrest at the Maverick County Lake this morning after giving consent to search the vehicle during a traffic stop. The driver admitted to having marijuana in his vehicle and a cigarette containing a green leafy substance was found in the glove compartment. The subject was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing and the vehicle was towed by a local wrecker service. The other occupants in the vehicle were released.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia-A traffic stop on a 2004 Cadillac yielded the discovery of a handmade glass pipe with an unknown narcotic residue inside the vehicle. Both the driver and passenger were cited at the scene and released. The vehicle was towed by a local wrecker service.
