Family Violence-A unit responded to the 2100 block of Old Pioneer Road this morning after receiving a 911 call that was abruptly interrupted. Contact was made with the complainant, who reported she her boyfriend had struck her in the face with a closed fist. A formal report was filed.
Fraud/Credit Card Abuse-A complainant arrived at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to report unknown subject(s) had been using her debit card to make transactions without her consent.
Wanted Person-City of Eagle Pass Police officers made contact with a deputy this evening after they had detained a male subject with an active warrant out of Maverick County. The warrant for forty-four year old Alfredo Mendiola was confirmed and Mr. Mendiola was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
