Maverick County Daily Reports-April 20, 2018

Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon-Units responded to the3800 block of Del Rio Blvd. this morning, where contact was made with a male victim who reported two male subjects had assaulted him with a baseball bat and a knife. The two subjects left the scene of the incident while the victim was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further medical treatment. The case was referred to the Criminal Investigations Division, who would later apprehend thirty one year-old Daniel Macias in connection with the assault.

Wanted Person-a deputy responded to the international port of entry #2 this afternoon after agents at the port detained a female subject with a possible warrant out of Bexar County. The warrant for Destiny Marie Coria was confirmed and Ms. Coria was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Violation of Protective Order-Josue Rocha was arrested on the 3100 block of Roman Street after he was reported at an unwanted location. Upon arrival, it was revealed Mr. Rocha had been in violation of a protective order. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Family Violence/Assault-Deputies were dispatched to the 300 block of Sunset Loop this evening, whereupon arrival made contact with two parties involved in a verbal argument which led to a physical altercation causing bodily injury. Sabino Hernandez, Jr. and Loriza Garza-Hernandez were both taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
