Maverick County Daily Reports-April 16, 2018

Family Violence/Assault-County units responded to the 3200 block of Yucca Loop, where contact was made with a complainant who reported a known female and male subject had gotten into a verbal argument that escalated into a physical confrontation. Both parties left the scene on foot prior to a deputy's arrival and a search of the area was to no avail.

Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz-A deputy patrolling FM1021 this afternoon conducted a traffic stop on a 2003 Ford Mustang for a minor infraction. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Jorge Leandro De Jesus, whose vehicle emitted a strong marijuana odor. Mr. De Jesus advised the deputy he was in possession of marijuana. He was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. 

Public Intoxication-Lee Roy Ibarra was taken into custody early this evening after a traffic stop conducted on North Street found him in an intoxicated state. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
