PRESS RELEASE

 [PRESS RELEASE] Maverick County, Texas. March 15, 2018- At approximately 8:43 PM, Maverick County deputies were dispatched to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center after a victim arrived with an apparent gunshot wound. Contact was made with the victim upon arrival, who reported that while outside of his brother's home on Vienna Street in Loma Bonita this evening, he heard a loud noise before being struck by a bullet in his abdomen area. The victim further reported he did not see who shot him or from what direction the bullet came from.

This case is currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigations Division of the Maverick County Sheriff's Office. The public is currently being asked to contact the office at 830-757-8803 should they have any information in regards to the incident. Thank you.
