Maverick County Daily Reports-December 05, 2017

Public Intoxication-Deputies this morning were dispatched to the Santos Circle area after a vehicle had reportedly fallen inside of a ditch. Upon arrival, contact was made with the occupants of the vehicle, two of which presented signs of intoxication. Michelle Gonzalez and Lorenzo Lopez Salazar were taken into custody on public intoxication charges and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing. A third occupant was given a courtesy ride home. The vehicle was towed and impounded by a local wrecker service.

Motor Vehicle Accident with Livestock-Units responded to US Highway 277 East after the driver of a 2006 Ford Taurus travelling eastbound struck a hog. The driver of the vehicle was evaluated by EMS crews at the scene but refused further medical attention. The vehicle was towed by Balde's Wrecker Service at the owner's request.

Burglary of Vehicle-A complainant reported unknown actor(s) had gained unlawful entry to her two vehicles, a 2013 Buick and a 2006 Cadillac, and took several items without consent.
