Maverick County Daily Reports-December 04, 2017

Possession of Marijuana/Possession of a Controlled Substance/Possession of a Dangerous Drug/Wanted Person-A deputy responded to the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino parking lot early this morning after Tribal Police officers had detained a male subject found in possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and a dangerous drug. A check on the detained subject, revealed as Monty Levon Baker, also revealed an active warrant out of Bexar County. He was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Genesis Gutierrez was placed under arrest at the international port of entry #1 after a check revealed an active warrant. The warrant was confirmed and Gutierrez was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Identity Theft-A complainant reported unknown subject(s) had used her personal identification to gain employment without her consent.

Wanted Person-Units responded to the 200 block of Victoriano Street this afternoon after State Troopers had informed deputies they had a male subject barricaded inside of a residence and requested assistance. Upon arrival, deputies began to assist by surrounding the perimeter of the home and the SWAT team was on hand to further assist. The subject, identified as Jesus Alberto Robledo Rivera, eventually opened the front door to the home and step to the end of the property, where he was apprehended and placed under arrest. He was then taken to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Motor Vehicle Accident/DWI/Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-County units were en route to Eidson Road this evening after a 2009 Dodge Charger had fallen into a ditch. Upon arrival, the vehicle was found unoccupied inside of the ditch and a search of the immediate are for its occupants was conducted. Found stumbling near the scene was a male subject identified as Robert Olivo, who advised he was the driver of the Charger. Mr. Olivo displayed a slurred speech and an alcoholic odor emitting from his person. A search found him to be in possession of a plastic baggy containing a green leafy. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
