Motor Vehicle Accident/Public Intoxication-Units were dispatched to Wagon Wheel Road this morning, whereupon arrival, observed a 2013 Lincoln MK had struck a tree. Deputies at the scene noticed a male subject standing next to the vehicle. The subject, identified David Valdovinos, displayed a slurred speed and an alcoholic odor emitting from his person. He was arrested on public intoxication charges and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Burglary of Habitation-A resident on the 2800 block of Memorial reported unknown subject(s) gained entry into his residence through a window and had taken two television sets and a safe containing approximately $800.00 without consent.
Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies responded to a motor vehicle on Vanesa Street this afternoon, where a 2006 Nissan Armada had struck a concrete barrier. EMS crews were summoned to the scene and the occupants of the vehicle were transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
Family Violence/Assault-Units responded to a residence on the 3100 block of Paseo Drive this afternoon, where a complainant reported being involved in a physical altercation with his brother in which he was struck in the left facial area with a closed fist. Jonathan Martinez was taken into custody from the scene and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Jesus Amezcua Banda was placed under arrest at the United States Border Patrol checkpoint on US Highway 57 this evening after being detained by patrol agents when a check revealed an active warrant out of Maverick County. The warrant was confirmed and Mr. Banda was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
