Wanted Person-Maverick County Adult Probation officers detained a male subject after a check revealed an active warrant. The subject, Jorge Canales Ruiz, was arrested after the warrant was confirmed. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Abraham Durante Carlon was arrested at the international poort of entry #1 this morning after being detained by port agents when a check revealed an active warrant. The warrant was confirmed and Mr. Carlon was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Hit and Run-Units responded to the Loma Bonita sector of Maverick County this afternoon after the driver of a 2013 Nissan Juke told deputies she had been travelling on Boulder Ridge when she was struck by a tan Chevrolet Avalanche that had disregarded a stop sign. The driver of the Avalanche fled the scene, leaving the Nissan with damages to the rear left quarter panel. All occupants refused medical attention at the time of the report.
