Motor Vehicle Accident/Public Intoxication-Units responded to the intersection of Kypuros Road and Wichita Circle early this morning after a Ford Focus had struck a utility pole. Upon arrival, a male subject identified as Luis Eduardo Herrera, Jr. was found outside next to the vehicle. Mr. Herrera displayed a slurred speech and an unknown alcoholic odor emitting from his person. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
DWI-A deputy on patrol this morning was flagged down by concerned citizens after a male subject had fallen asleep behind the wheel at the intersection of Del Rio Blvd. and Veteran's Blvd. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Gabriel Morales, who displayed an unknown alcoholic odor emitting from his person. Mr. Morales was given a sobriety field exam, in which he performed poorly. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing, where he would later refuse to provide a specimen of his breath.
Wanted Person-Deputies arrested a female subject identified as Marisol De La Rosa at the international port of entry #2 after a check revealed active warrants for her arrest. The warrants out of Bexar County were confirmed and Ms. De La Rosa was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Disorderly Conduct-Ernesto Santoya was placed under arrest after tribal police had found him intoxicated and using profane language towards employees and customers at the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
