Maverick County Daily Reports-September 14, 2017

Public Intoxication/Possession of a Controlled Substance-Units responded to Tierra Soberana Blvd. early this morning in reference to a motor vehicle accident with a fixed object. Upon arrival, contact was made with Jose Luis Alamillo, Jr., who was found standing next to the vehicle involved. Mr. Alamillo displayed signs of intoxication, including a a slurred speech, an alcoholic odor emitting from his person, and unstable balance. He was taken into custody on public intoxication charges, and in the midst of a pat down was found to be in possession of a clear bag containing a white powdery substance that would test positive for cocaine. Mr. Alamillo was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Vehicle-A resident on the 2800 block of Frances Gates reported unknown subject(s) had gained entry to his vehicle and took approximately 200 dollars and a pocket knife from the center console.
