Maverick County Daily Reports-September 13, 2017

Disorderly Conduct-A deputy was dispatched to the Stripes convenience store on FM1021 early this morning after a known male customer had become unruly and demanded his money back when gas pumps at the location were slow. The employee chose not to press charges but feared for his safety and wished to file a report.

Burglary of Vehicle-A complainant on Valerie Drive reported unknown subject(s) had entered his vehicle without consent and took the radio.

Theft-A deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of Springview this afternoon, where a resident reported unknown person(s) had stolen jewelry from her home.

Motor Vehicle Accident-A County Unit responded to the intersection of Wagon Wheel Road and Jean Street this evening after the driver of a 2006 Mitsubishi Galant had struck a fence. The driver had fled the scene prior to a deputies arrival. The Texas Department of Public Safety was also at the scene and has since taken over the investigation.
