Public Intoxication-Deputies patrolling Loop 480 and Highway 277 made contact with a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado improperly parked on the roadway. The driver, Angel Reyna Reyes, displayed signs of intoxication and was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Motor Vehicle Accident-Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on Us Highway 277 this morning, where upon arrival, observed a 2015 Nissan Altima with minor damages to its rear bumper and a 2011 Harley Davidson with minor front damages. Investigations at the scene revealed the motorcycle had struck the Nissan from behind as it was coming to a stop. A female passenger in the Nissan was transported to the ER for further evaluation.
Recovered Narcotic-A deputy responded to the Dollar General on Highway 277 this afternoon after a complainant reported finding a clear bag with a green leafy substance by the front entrance. The bag was recovered and transported to the evidence locker at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office.
Wanted Person-Juan Manuel Chacon was placed under arrest at the port of entry this evening after a check revealed an active warrant out of Potter County. The warrant was confirmed and Mr. Chacon was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
