Maverick County Daily Reports-April 25, 2017

Violation of a Protective Order-Deputies arrested Jose Luis Ladino at the international port of entry #2 this afternoon after confirming a violation with the City of San Antonio Police Department. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

DWI/Resisting Arrest/Terroristic Threats-A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle that had left the 300 block of La Paloma this evening. Contact was made with the driver, Abelardo Canales-Ruiz, and a strong alcoholic odor was found emitting from his person. Mr. Ruiz was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Building-A complainant on US Highway 277 North reported that on an unknown date, unknown actor(s) had opened several storage containers. At the time of this report, it was not yet determined if any of the contents of the containers had gone missing.

Burglary of Habitation/Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle-A complainant reported unknown subject(s) had broken into his ranch house and took a set of keys and  a 2003 Ford vehicle without consent.

Burglary of Vehicle-A resident on Encino Street reported a known male subject had broken into his pickup truck and took a bag containing two Dewalt drills and chargers without consent.

Possession of Marijuana under 2 oz.-Units responded to the international port of entry #1 after CBP agents had detained a male subject found to be in possession of marijuana. Leonardo Gonzalez was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing on possession charges.

Wanted Person-Jose Hector Flores and Wendy Guerra were placed under arrest this afternoon after initially being detained by City of Eagle Pass Police officers this afternoon, when a background check revealed active warrant out of Maverick County. The two would be transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-A deputy arrested a male subject identified as Mario Alberto Diaz in the Wal-Mart parking lot this afternoon after confirming an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Building-A complainant on Calle Jalisco reported unknown actor(s) took a 3 piece leather set from his storage room without consent.

Burglary of Building-Deputies responded to the 1000 block of Casales, where a unknown actor(s) forced their way into a residence under construction via a rear window. The actors took a 60 inch television and a Craftsman weed eater.
