Maverick County Daily Reports-April 21, 2017

Disorderly Conduct-Units responded to Venado Street early this morning, where contact was made with a female complainant who reported a know female subject had arrived at the location and initiated a physical altercation. The known aggressor fled the scene prior to a deputies arrival.


Wanted Person-Deputies were dispatched to the international port of entry #1 this afternoon after a subject attempting to enter the United States was detained when a check revealed an active warrant. Luis Alberto Quisma was arrested when a warrant out of Maverick County was deemed active. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Luisa Maria Ramirez was taken into custody after a background check at the USBP checkpoint revealed an active warrant. The warrant out of Maverick County was confirmed and Ramirez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Theft/Burglary of Vehicle-A resident on Maple Street reported unknown subjects had entered her property as well as a 2008 Toyota pickup truck and took several items without consent. Among the items missing were a ladder, a weed eater, two grinders, and several tools. A report was filled on the incident.
