Wanted Person-Deputies patrolling El Indio Highway early this morning conducted a traffic stop on a 2008 Chevrolet Pickup for a minor traffic violation. Contact was made with the driver, identified as Gerardo Gonzalez, whose background check would later reveal an active warrant out of Maverick County. Mr. Gonzalez was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Hit and Run-A 2010 Chevrolet Equinox traveling on Memo Robinson Road this morning was struck by a white pick-up truck, which fled the scene in an unknown direction. The driver of the equinox refused medical attention at the time of the report.
Wanted Person-Deputies arrested Jose Tapia at the international port of entry #1 this morning after a check revealed an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed and he was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Juan Manuel Bucio was arrested at the Maverick County Adult Probation Department this afternoon after a system check revealed an actibe warrant out of Maverick County. Mr. Bucio was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
