Public Intoxication-Deputies responding to calls of a suspicious male in the Lety Street area came across a subject matching the description while en route early this morning. Contact was made with the subject, identified as Juan Gabriel Aguilar, who was found to be intoxicated. He was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Deputies arrested Francisco Javier Sanchez after conducting a background check that revealed an active warrant. The warrant was confirmed and Mr. Sanchez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Burglary of Habitation-A complainant on the 3800 block of Deer Run reported an unknown subject had entered his residence and took a television set, laptop computer, and several other belongings without consent.
Wanted Person-Deputies arrested a male subject identified as Michael Ramos after a check revealed an active warrant for his arrest out of Maverick County. Mr. Ramos was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Motor Vehicle Accident-Units responded to a motor vehicle accident by FM1021 and Old Pioneer Road this evening after a vehicle struck a 2011 Nissan Versa from behind. The collision caused rear end damages to the Nissan and the second vehicle fled the scene in an unknown direction prior to a deputies' arrival. A female passenger was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for further medical treatment and the vehicle was towed from the scene by a local wrecker service. This case is under investigation.
Possession of a Controlled Substance-A unit was dispatched to the international port of entry #1 this evening, where CBP agents had detained a male subject found to be in possession of a white powdery substance, which later tested positive for meth. Steven Romero Ibarra of San Antonio, Texas was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
