Wanted Person-Deputies arrested a male subject at the international port of entry early this morning when a check revealed an active warrant out of Harris County. Jose Baldemar Salas was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing after the warrant was confirmed.
Public Intoxication/Possession of Marijuana-Deputies responded to a convenience store this evening to find a male subject acting disorderly. Contact made with the subject, identified as Miguel Herrera, Jr., who was highly intoxicated and in possession of marijuana. He was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Deputies arrested Kenneth Byrd this evening after a check revealed an active warrant for his arrest. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon/Public Intoxication-Deputies responded to a residence on the 1300 block of Siesta Drive this evening, where a male subject was found with a gunshot wound in his foot. EMS crews were at the scene, however, the male subject, identified as Hector Jimenez, refused medical attention. He would later be transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center for treatment. This case is still under investigation.
