Deceased Person-Deputies responded to a residence on Memo Robinson Road this morning, where EMS crews at the scene reported a male subject was found unresponsive and has passed away due to health problems. The body was transported by a local funeral home.
Wanted Person-David Joshua Castaneda was placed under arrest at the United States Border Patrol checkpoint this afternoon after agents detained him when a check revealed an active warrant for his arrest. The warrant was confirmed and Mr. Castaneda was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Burglary of Habitation-A resident on the 100 block of Pueblo Nuevo reported a known male subject had entered the home and took a gold ring valued at approximately $6,000.00 without consent.
