Maverick County Daily Reports-February 06, 2017

Assault/Family Violence-A complainant on the 2900 block of Del Rio Blvd. reported his son had arrived home highly intoxicated and a verbal argument had escalated into a physical confrontation. Gerardo Davis De La Rosa was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Burglary of Vehicle-A resident on the 1100 block of Ginebra reported he heard the alarm to his vehicle going off and looked out the window of his home to find a male subject rummaging in the vehicle. The unknown male subject then ran from the scene with a black iPad mini and approximately $525.00 with him.

Theft-A complainant on Minerva drive reported unknown subjects had stolen several items from her backyard, including an antique sewing machine and patio furniture.

Resisting Arrest-Deputies responded to Buck Drive this afternoon, where a male subject was attempting to forcefully gain entry into a residence. Upon arrival, contact was made with thirty-six year old Cesar Sanchez, who was found standing outside the property. Mr. Sanchez began to show resistance, and after a brief struggle, was placed in hand restraints. A background check revealed an active warrant for his arrest. EMS crews were summoned to the scene after Mr. Sanchez requested medical attention. He was taken to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center ER, where he was cleared before being transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
