Maverick County Daily Reports-February 03, 2017

Burglary of Vehicle-A resident on the 1500 block of Calle Encuentro reported unknown subject(s) entered her 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe and took several items without consent.

Assault-A complainant reported she had been assaulted by a known female on February 01, 2017. A report was filed.

Credit Card Abuse-A complainant advised that her account had been compromised when several charged had been made by unknown subject(s). A report was filed.

Wanted Person-Deputies were dispatched to the Maverick County Adult Probation Department, where thirty-five year old Chris Trevino was placed under arrest when a check revealed an active warrant out of Maverick County. The warrant was confirmed and he was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Units were en route to the international port of entry 2 this afternoon after CBP agents detained a female subject with an open warrant. The warrant on the subject, identified as Beronica Lopez de Correa, was confirmed and she was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Theft-A Dollar General manager at the FM1021 location reported two subject had taken several assorted items from the store without paying.

Motor Vehicle Accident-Count units were dispatched to Old Pioneer Road this afternoon where two vehicles were involved in a motor vehicle accident. An investigation at the scene determined the two vehicles involved, a 2007 Ford Focus and a 2016 Kia Rio, were traveling eastbound, when the driver of the Focus attempted to pass the Kia on its left side. The Kia simultaneously attempted to turn left onto Canal Street and was struck by the Focus. The driver of the Kia was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center ER for further medical treatment.
