Maverick County Daily Reports-January 03, 2017

Wanted Person-Carmen Elizabeth Cuellar-Landeros was arrested at the international port of entry #2 early this morning after a background check revealed an active warrant out of Bexar County. The warrant was confirmed and Ms. Landeros was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-William Vega was arrested at the international port of entry #2 this morning, when a background check revealed an active warrant from the US Marshals Office. Mr. Vega was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Motor Vehicle Accident with a Pedestrian-Deputies responded to the 4200 block of Deer Run Blvd. after  a female subject was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on Deer Run Blvd. The driver of the vehicle told deputies she had been blinded by the sun light when she struck the female. The subject was transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center ER for further treatment.

Motor Vehicle Accident with a Fixed Object-Units responded to Los Guajillos, where a 2003 Ford Explorer was found upside down after the driver failed to control its speed. The driver and passenger left the scene of the accident prior to a deputies arrival.

Disorderly Conduct-Deputies responded to a call on Juan Circle, whereupon arrival, witnessed a fight in progress between two male subjects. Jose Alvarez, Jr. was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Joane Ramirez was placed under arrest at the international port of entry #2 this evening after a check revealed an active warrant out of Bexar County. The warrant was confirmed and Ms. Ramirez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
