Maverick County Daily Reports-December 20, 2016

Assault-A complainant on the 3600 block of Caribou Trail reported she had been involved in a physical altercation with a known male, who fled the scene prior to a deputies arrival at the location. A report was filed.

Burglary of Vehicle-A complainant on ther1500 block of Encuentro advised unknown subjects had entered her  2003 Ford F-350 and took a portable battery charger without consent.

Deceased Person-County units responded to Broken Bows Ranch, where the ranch foreman told deputies he had found human remains while performing maintenance on the property. This case is under investigation.

Family Violence-Deputies responded to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center ER this afternoon after initially fielding calls of a domestic disturbance on Lago Vista. Upon arrival, contact was made with a female subject who reported she had been assaulted by a known male. A report was filed.

Identity Theft-A complainant arrived at the Maverick County Sheriff's Office to report an unknown subject(s) had used his residency card in a location out of state.

Burglary of Vehicle-A deputy responded to the 1000 block of Progresso, where a complainant reported several items had gone missing from a vehicle that was left unlocked.

Burglary of Habitation-A resident on Zaragoza reported unknown subject(s) gained entry into her residence and took several items without consent. 

Possession of a Prohibited Weapon-Domingo Hernandez Valdez III was placed under arrested at the international port of entry #1 this evening when he was found to be in possession of a pair of brass knuckles. He was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
