Evading Arrest with a Motor Vehicle-A deputy on patrol attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a 2004 Yamaha R6 found after it was found traveling at a rate of 70 MPH in a 45 MPH zone this afternoon. The operator of the vehicle accelerated northbound on South Veteran's Blvd, however, county units were able to detain the driver a short time later. Theirry Derbez was taken into custody and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
