Maverick County Daily Reports-August 14, 2016

Criminal Mischief/Assault-Deputies were informed by a complainant that a known female had knowingly and intentionally damaged a Chrysler 300 with an unknown object. Prior to the incident the known female had struck the complainant on the facial area.

Identity Theft-A complainant on the 1000 block of Frances reported unknown subject(s) had used her personal information to obtain a credit card.

Wanted Person-Deputies arrested Jesus Lozano at the international port of entry 2 this afternoon after a background check reveal an active warrant for Mr. Lozano's arrest. He was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Wanted Person-Deputies confirmed an active warrant on Edgar Eduardo Aguinaga this afternoon after he was initially detained at the international port of entry 1. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

Driving While Intoxicated-Deputies on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a 1994 Chevrolet Silverado for a minor violation. Contact was made with the driver, Juan Carlos Torres, who displayed signs of intoxication. Mr. Torres refused to conduct any sobriety exams at the time and was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
