Motor Vehicle Accident with Live Stock-The driver of a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche traveling eastbound on Loop 480 this morning stated a horse jumped in front of her vehicle, causing her to strike the horse.
Wanted Person-Deputies arrested Estaban Jimenez, Jr. at the United States Border Patrol South Station this afternoon, where a check revealed an active warrant. Mr. Jimenez was transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-A County unit responded to the United States Border Patrol South Station, where agents had detained a male subject with an active warrant out for his arrest. The warrant on Juan Pablo Castaneda was confirmed and Mr. Castaneda was arrested and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Benjamin Olivas was placed under arrest at the United States Border Patrol South Station after initially being detained by BP agents when a check revealed an active warrant. Olivas was taken into custody by deputies and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Possession of Marijuana/Possession of a Controlled Substance-Deputies were dispatched to the United States Border Patrol South Station this afternoon, after a female subject was found to be in possession of marijuana as well a controlled substance. Virginia Mae Martinez was placed under arrest and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
Wanted Person-Claudia Sanchez was arrested on outstanding warrant charges out of the Maverick County Sheriff's Office this afternoon. Ms. Sanchez was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
